L.O.V.E.

WORKSHOP, SCULPTURES, CAPC, 2025

What better place than beneath Daniel Otero Torres’ stilted cabin to tell the story of a baron who chooses to live without ever setting foot on the ground? By planting seeds with the children in the workshop, we expressed the wish that they might grow as tall as Calvino’s trees and reflected on the importance of rebellious choices.

Under Andrea Bowers’ suspended chairs, designed for activists who spend long periods of time living in trees, we asked ourselves: what would our List of Truly Essential Objects be — the things we would take with us? Starting from these objects of the heart and of survival, we created small crate-like treasure boxes using recycled materials, transformed into true treasures.
