WORKSHOP, SCULPTURES, CAPC, 2025

During 2025, I designed a series of workshops for the CAPC Museum of Contemporary Art in Bordeaux, developed in dialogue with the museum’s temporary exhibitions.

Panier : The idea for this workshop emerged from a reflection on Sung Tieu’s picnic tables, which evoke a story waiting to be created. In the CAPC workshop spaces, I installed a fully set picnic table: tablecloths, baskets, forks, trays, as well as a menu made up of eight questions. Based on these prompts, children were invited to imagine their own dish through collage techniques.

This workshop was conceived as a way to reflect on the importance of memories connected to food, flavours, and smells, as well as on the shared meal as a moment of conviviality and transmission.

Panneau : With the children, we reflected on the rules that organise our living spaces, our places of rest, and our play areas, imagining a territory of freedom where everyone could decide what they would like to do there.

In the CAPC workshop spaces, I installed a square of artificial grass accompanied by a backdrop representing a blue sky. What rules could we create for this utopian space? What would we like others to do there? Which actions should, on the contrary, be forbidden?

Inspired by the aesthetics of road signs, participants created their own signs expressing obligations, prohibitions, or warnings.
